Jenkins Community Water System Meeting
September 15, 2025
Members present: Charles Holcomb, George Fuller, Matt Bazer, Glenn Long, Karen Estes, and Naomi Lewis
Absent: Danny Darden, Jackie Lockett, and Vanessa Powell

The meeting was called to order by Charles Holcomb at 6:00pm. Minutes from the August 18, 2025 meeting were reviewed. Matt Bazer made a motion to accept minutes from meeting and this was seconded by Glenn Long all were in favor and motion passed.

Total Earned Income: $15,097.51
Total Contract Services: $10,588.40
Total Expenses: $11,984.40
Income: $3,113.11
Interest Earned: $17.32
Net Income: $3,130.43
All Banking Accounts Total: $279,286.40
Matt Bazer made a motion to approve treasurer’s report from August 2025 and this was seconded by Naomi Lewis, all in favor and motion carried.
Operator’s Report:
Scott was absent, but no major problems reported.
New Business:
Water Usage report and billing information showed a 24% Loss. It was noted that Horseshoe Road master meter does not work so calculations were a little off.
USDA reports – Everything was ready and they will be scanned and sent tomorrow and then will send hard copy. This was for 2023 and 2024.
Josh Powell’s meters were leaking and need to be replaced.
Scott Fuller – the court date was September 5th but he had not contacted a court appointed attorney so he was given instructions to contact and reschedule court date.
Katie and Bryce Taylor requested a onetime leak adjustment, but will have to wait until after billing at the end of September to get the entire leak. Will discuss at next meeting.
Matt Bazer made a motion to adjourn and this was seconded by Glenn Long. The meeting was adjourned at 6:41pm.
